Proofamatics Online

Proofamatics On-line has been designed for companies who use technology to make training delivery more efficient and effective, or for those occasions when:

• an in-house workshop isn't economically viable

• attending an in-house workshop isn't possible

• participants are geographically spread

• participants prefer to learn at their own pace.

Proofamatics On-line is an e-learning workshop which increases the accuracy of written communication by improving proofreading skills.

Proofamatics On-line teaches a 3-step system for finding errors and shows how to avoid reading for comprehension whilst checking for errors.

Proofamatics On-line provides a grammar, punctuation, spelling and capitalisation review.

Proofamatics On-line includes visual accuracy exercises designed to strengthen eye muscles, reduce eye fatigue, increase eye-span and speed up proofreading.

OBJECTIVES

After completing Proofamatics On-line, participants will be able to:

• proofread using a specific technique

• catch errors in daily communications

• increase the accuracy of memos, letters, reports and documents

• increase the speed of finding errors

• present a professional image in all written communications.

COURSE DESCRIPTION

Proofamatics On-line is an eight-module
e-learning workshop, typically taken as two modules per week. Click on the course outline link for details of each module.

AUDIENCE

Any person who produces documents, whether on paper or on screen.

USING PROOFAMATICS ON-LINE

Users can be individuals or groups:

• individuals pay on-line for a three-month licence. In this period they can access the eight modules as frequently as they wish. The price of a three-month licence is £65.00 + VAT.

• groups (usually companies) are set up with an in-house 'manager'. The manager controls access to the course and can use the in-built LMS. A group licence is for one year. Please contact us for details.

All users have free access to the Proofamatics guide to grammar, punctuation, spelling and capitalisation and can also print a certificate of completion at the end of the course.

Proofamatics On-line is SCORM compliant and can be installed on the client's own LMS.
